Jo Donahue writes suspenseful mysteries and romantic thrillers featuring strong women facing extraordinary circumstances.

Drawing on her years as a registered nurse, she crafts stories that blend careful investigation, psychological insight, and compelling puzzles with the hidden social issues that shape people's lives. Inspired by her Oklahoma roots and a love of the American West, her novels celebrate courage, resilience, and the determination to overcome impossible odds.

Listen to her read from her latest mystery, Cherokee Cypher, the first in a five novel series.
