A new chat group for TORNADO ALLEY SINC MEMBERS!

Jude Bayton, our chapter’s secretary has put together a new monthly event for our Tornado Alley SinC Members.

​

Introducing……..SLEUTHS ON THE LOOSE – Our new chat group.

​

Twice a month you can join your fellow members for a one-hour 'chat' on Zoom. Grab your coffee, or your tea, and pretend you’re sitting in someone’s living room. The purpose of the chat group is for everyone within the chapter to meet and learn about each other.

​

As writers, we tend to isolate. Some of us spend a great deal of time with our story’s characters, but not much time with fellow writers. Often, we cannot attend meetings in person due to a multitude of reasons.

​

SLEUTHS ON THE LOOSE is designed to allow us to discuss what we are writing, share tips and advice on writing, and to connect on a much more personal level. Monthly Zoom meetings with guest speakers are fabulous, but there is little time for members to chat with one another and become friends. This new chat group will give us the opportunity to talk about anything within our wonderful world of writing! This is the perfect chance for you to get to know people who are as crazy about writing as you are. It will be great!

HERE’S THE PLAN

​

The meetings will be held on the SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of the month. Jude will send a Zoom invitation out twice a month. (You must be a member of Tornado Alley SinC to receive the invitation. If you are not a member, click HERE to join.) 

​

The first meeting each month will be held at 10:00 a.m. The last meeting each month will be held at 7:00 p.m. - all Central Time, so those of you working 8-5 don’t miss out. Jude will host the meetings.

​

The first few meetings, will be spent getting to know one another. As time goes on, the meetings will be geared towards certain topics. Sharing how we do certain tasks in our writing, personal experiences within the publishing world, author recommendations, helping new writers get comfortable with their craft……the sky’s the limit!

There will be no guest speakers, it will just be us!

Come and make new friends, have a good time, and enjoy talking to people who share your passion for writing, and reading too!
